Ebrahim Narváez was born in 1980 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a poet, editor, visual artist, cultural organizer, and politician. His literary work has received various awards, including first place in the 14th Certamen Nacional de Poesía José Gautier Benítez for his book Acorralado por el aguacero (Ediciones Tablado, 2023), first place in the Certamen Nacional Manuel Joglar Cacho for “Poema para murciélagos,” and first place in the 13th Certamen Literario of the Universidad Politécnica of Puerto Rico. Narváez is co-founder of the cultural organizing collective, Consortium Cultural and currently collaborates with the literary group, Movimiento Poético del Cibuco. His work includes Hervor de la piel (Terranova Editores, 2008).
