Antonio Nicolás Blanco was born in 1887 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and died in 1945 in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. He wrote for Revista de la Antillas, El Diluvio, Puerto Rico Ilustrado, and directed the magazine Alma Latina. His poetry is associated with Modernismo and his publications include El Jardín de Pierrot (Compañía Editorial Antillana, 1914), Y muy Sencillo (1919), and Alas Perdidas (Tip. Real Hermanos, 1928).
