Humble Stone (trans.)
The stone that bathes
in the trickle of clear water
that descends from the mountain,
is so piously
noble and good
that it trembles in anguish
and sorrow
when it sees in the current
that flows toward the unknown,
a dry leaf, a withered flower,
a broken nest.

Piedra humilde
La piedra que se baña
en el hilo del agua transparente
que baja de la montaña,
es tan piadosamente
noble y buena,
que tiembla de angustia
y pena
cuando ve en la corriente
con rumbo hacia lo ignoto
una hoja seca, una flor mustia,
un nido roto.
