Mercedes Josefina Moll
(She/Her)Mercedes Josefina Moll Boscana, also known by her pen name Flor Daliza, was a Puerto Rican poet and storyteller, and the sister of the poet Arístides Moll. Some sources suggest her birth year as 1887, though the exact dates of her birth and death remain uncertain. Moll received her primary and secondary education in her hometown before pursuing a literary career. She contributed to numerous periodicals in San Juan, such as Los domingos del boletín, El hogar, El carnaval, La democracia, Cervantes, and Plumas amigas, as well as publications in the neighboring Dominican Republic. In addition to her literary pursuits, Moll worked as a secretary at the Spanish Embassy in Washington, DC.
