Janis Palma Castroman holds a BA in Spanish language and literature with a minor in art history from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA in Puerto Rican & Caribbean literature and history from the Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe. She is an educator and an English-Spanish judiciary interpreter and legal translator with over 40 years of experience. She currently lives in San Antonio, Texas.
