setting up camp
in my solitude
has been a struggle.
the river persuades me
that every ocean
is my birth.
undawning
has always been this;
unpuddling.
loosening in the movement
fluid
calm
receiving light
is another form of reflection
we are icarus repressed,
we’re always afraid
of flying close to the sun.

autocontemplación
acampar en mi
soledad
ha sido un reto.
el río me reclama que
cada uno de los océanos
es mi nacimiento.
desamanecer
siempre ha sido eso;
desencharcarse.
soltar en el movimiento
fluido
calma
recibir la luz
es otra forma de contemplación:
somos ícaros reprimidxs,
siempre tenemos miedo
de volar cerca del sol.
